The PLATFORM protocol functions as a blockchain explorer (+ underlying side-chain) with media player and social music sharing feature sets.
BUILDER is used to create, mint and share songs that are compatible with + formatted for categorization, reading, playback and interaction on PLATFORM's ledger.
SONG AND COMMUNITY INTERACTION
All songs on the PLATFORM protocol are accessible for free by any user of PLATFORM with a claimed account.
Favoriting songs and adding them to your library incurs a transaction cost of (1 FORM), songs that are favorited can have FORM staked with them to highlight or showcase an artist as well as receive potential rewards in FORM.
Once favorited, a user may leave a timestamped comment on the song and/or comment on other's comments.
FORM
FORM is the native token of the PLATFORM protocol.
FORM can be used to stake with a user's favorite songs for a potential reward, build a library, buy storage tokens for a compatible chain to start minting songs, exchange into main ledger token, or hold for a stronger governance position.
All edits and additions to the PLATFORM protocol are determined by community vote. Influence positions are based on total amount of FORM held by an individual entity.
Transaction fees in FORM go to the Protocol Treasury.
FORM can only be awarded or bought on BUILDER.
BUILDER
BUILDER is the tool a user must use to create and mint songs on the PLATFORM ledger. It is a fully functional DAW and distribution tool.
Access to BUILDER is provided to any PLATFORM user at a subscription rate paid in the main ledger’s token.
With BUILDER users can share and collaborate on sessions, broadcast sessions, and sell user created instruments and effect modules.
